Ibiza Bars

Although you're probably heading to Ibiza for the clubs, before every great club night is the warm up session at some of Ibiza's great selection of pre-club bars and 'sunset cafes'.

Clubbing in Ibiza is expensive so many holiday makers choose to fuel up on cheap drinks in bars on San Antonio's infamous strip or on the waterfront. The bars in San Antonio may not be as inspiring as Ibiza clubs but they serve a purpose and can be good fun

Another important part of Ibiza club culture is the sunset cafe- bars like Cafe del Mar and Cafe Mambo are the perfect scene to watch the Ibiza sunset, here some great music, drink and talk up the night ahead. No Ibiza trip is complete without catching Pete Tong's Essential Selection live from Cafe Mambo on Friday nights through the summer.

Unlike the clubs, Ibiza bars don't need any pre planning. The majority are free to get in (so long as you buy a drink) and the best way to find the good ones is to explore but we've given you a few pointer here to some of our favourite Ibiza bars.
