Bar M (Manumission Bar)

Bar M- the Manumission Bar was the original venue of the manumission pre-parties but after the success of Ibiza Rocks the past couple of years its now maybe better known as the place to listen to live bands in Ibiza.

Bar M is situated at the heart of the San Antonio waterfront with its main entrance on the beach and the back door opening onto the main road where hoard of party people are shipped out on the free buses to manumission and other big club nights across the island. Nearer the harbour end of the waterfront Bar M does a roaring trade off the back of Eden and Es Paradis which sit just behind it on the other side of the road meaning pretty much any nights a good night for a drink or 2 there.

The bar has been converted into a full on live music venue which has hosted bands including The Fratellis, Kasabian and Hard-Fi.

Bar M also stock most major club tickets, including of course Manumission.

Bar M's not the cheapest bar in San Antonio as its away from the close proximity competition of the bars on the strip so you might not want to spend the whole evening there but any time between 9-12pm its sure to have a good crowd and decent music.

its also worth a look during the day, as they serve a decent menu at reasonable prices from breakfast through to early evening and there's seating out on the waterfront where you can kill an hour drinking and people watching- kept cool by the water mist pumped out from the roof!
